Music Legends Sia & Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy Join Animated Musical Charming

Four-time Grammy Award Winner Sia Furler has written two songs for the 3QU Media not-so-fairy tale animated musical comedy CHARMING -- the story of three princesses who discover their Prince Charming is engaged to all of them at the same time.

The Australian singer, songwriter, music producer Sia will perform “Balladino," one of two songs Sia wrote for the musical comedy.  She will also portray the character Half Oracle...a first-time voice-over for Sia. Demi Lovato, the film's female lead and music score executive producer, will sing the second Sia- penned song entitled "Magical."

Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump adds to the film’s musical currency by writing and co-producing the song "Trophy Boy" -- sung by Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale and G.E.M.

Included in the star-studded cast are Wilmer Valderrama, who voices the iconic male lead role in Charming.  Valderama joinsAvril Lavigne as Snow White, Ashley Tisdale as Cinderella, and G.E.M. as Sleeping Beauty.

The music talent news for Charming was announced today by John H. Williams and Henry Skelsey, two of the founders of 3QU Media.  The company was formed in 2014 to create family friendly CG-animated films for global audiences and has offices in Los Angeles, Greenwich, CT and Montreal.

Produced by John H. Williams and written and directed by Ross Venokur, Charming is a 3QU Media Production of a Vanguard Animation film in associated with WV Enterprises. SC Films International is handling foreign sales. Production is underway at Cinesite's (Edge of Tomorrow, World War Z, and Harry Potter) new animation studio in Montreal.

There are not many performers CONFIDENT enough to be a part of my first soundtrack as an executive producer. I am thrilled to welcome my friend and hero Sia to the movie, which also marks her first animated film as an actress. Having just worked with Patrick, I couldn’t think of anyone better to find a musical voice for our princesses.

From our first meeting it was our goal to make ‘Charming’ that animated film that makes a profound impact on pop culture with its music. It is clear that with Demi, Avril, Ashley, GEM and now the incredible Sia and Patrick, that we are well on our way to accomplishing that goal.
